Former Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could now return to management once again with the Swedish national team.
The Swedish national team’s manager has reportedly made an attempt to succeed the former Manchester United manager. Sweden is trying to find a worthy successor for Janne Andersson, who quit after his team was unable to qualify for the 2024 European Championship.
Sweden needs a manager who can turn around the team and set them up for future success. At Old Trafford, Solskjaer performed admirably to stabilize the ship, and the Swedish FA may find him to be an intriguing purchase.
The Swedish FA is also keeping an eye on Australian coach Tony Gustavsson, Blackburn manager Jon Dahl Tomasson, and former Premier League scorer Olof Mellberg, a former defender for Aston Villa.
It will be interesting to see who they end up appointing as their new manager in the end.
