The 2024 summer transfer window could mark a series of changes at Arsenal, in terms of both incomings and outgoings.
Arsenal remain locked into their Premier League title charge and Champions League run but the planning for the summer has already been completed according to the sporting director Edu Gaspar.
“Well, I understand what the fans are asking for but we already have our targets,” the Brazilian said. “We have planned a lot ahead and I will be worried if we don’t score a lot of goals and if we’re not creating chances, which is the opposite because we create a lot and score a lot of goals.

“The plan is to try to get better every year and I think we are in a good moment. Let’s see if we can keep improving.”

After a record spend in 2023, expectations are high but the club do need to continue to comply with FFP rules and regulations. There is certainly scope to improve financial freedom with a glut of potential exits however giving Edu even more work to do with soon-to-be Managing Director Richard Garlick.

With that in mind, here is a rundown of what positions Arsenal intend to strengthen and the players they have in mind and have been linked to. In addition, the group of potential exits that could indeed bring in some much-needed revenue.

Where do Arsenal want to strengthen this summer?

In short, everywhere. This might be surprising to hear considering the current squad is taking on the Premier League’s best but there is certainly scope to improve in the forward, midfield and defence with a potential buy even needed at goalkeeper.
