Erik ten Hag says the new United striker Rasmus Hojlund has taken part in his first full training session with the first team.
He revealed this ahead of Saturday’s Premier League against Nottingham Forest.
Hojlund is unfortunately unavailable for this weekend’s action, but Erik continued to provide the media with a positive report that will energize supporters ahead of a busy few weeks for the Reds.
“Today, for the first time, he came into team training,” explained the boss, when asked how near Hojlund was to getting onto the pitch.
“Next week we expect him to do a full week with all the team training. So he’s very near to making the squad.”
