Alan Nixon claims that INEOS wants to sever ties with Casemiro in order to cut the Manchester United team’s payroll.

The Brazilian player, who cost £70 million when he signed a contract from Real Madrid last year, is thought to be the highest paid player for the Red Devils, bringing in $350,000 every week.

Casemiro was a major contributor to Man United’s success the previous season, but he hasn’t been as much this time around, so it would be wise to let the experienced great go.

The Manchester Evening News claims that Ratcliffe questioned the decision to recruit Casemiro at such a high price when he first expressed interest in purchasing Man United.

Now that he has the authority to make significant decisions at Man United, would the 71-year-old trade in the Brazil international for a younger player as one of his first moves?
