From Manchester United, Marc Jurado has completed a permanent transfer to Espanyol.
The defender, who is 19 years old, has been a member of the Reds’ youth teams since 2020 and will now play in Spain’s second level.
Jurado came from Barcelona to Manchester three years ago. He has competed for his country at the Under-19 and Under-20 levels.
Since then, Marc has frequently been spotted competing for our Under-18s and Under-21s. Over a three-year span, he has made 31 Under-18 Premier League appearances and 34 in Premier League 2.
The young player participated in preseason training with the first team squad this summer, scoring in the loss to Wrexham in San Diego, and has made many outings against senior teams in the EFL Trophy.
Having played a total of 86 matches across the Academy’s Professional Development Phase and grown both on and off the pitch, Marc leaves the club
